Mistake #3: Not Making Your Habits Sticky

So far we’ve covered the 2 common mistakes people make when it comes to forming new habits: 1) they try to do too many at the same time and 2) they aren’t very specific.

The third common mistake we see people make is that they don’t make their new habits sticky. When you don’t have a game plan for how to maintain a habit then you’re setting yourself up for failure. It’s only natural that habits fizzle out after a while. Just like you have to maintain a car every now and then, it’s the same with your habits.
