  1. At 16:00, choosing a profile in Chrome was discussed. Brave Browser also allows you to choose a specific profile when you open it, but I use Firefox, and although Firefox has a profile manager, it doesn't, as far as I know, allow you to choose a specific profile when you start up Firefox.

    On a Mac, if you want Firefox to always open the profile chooser automatically each time, here’s what to do:

    Quit Firefox completely.
    (Cmd + Q to ensure no background processes remain.)

    Open Finder, then press:

    Cmd + Shift + G

    and paste:

    ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/

    In that folder, open the file named profiles.ini in a text editor (e.g. TextEdit or BBEdit).

    Find the line that says:

    StartWithLastProfile=1

    and change it to:

    StartWithLastProfile=0

    Save the file and restart Firefox.

  2. At 24:33 in the podcast, opening a set of tabs in a browser for a particular task was discussed. An extension I liked for this purpose is Tabs Stash.
